1. What inspired you to become an Author?
I was about to turn 50 and wanted to shake things up a bit, but I wasn't about to climb Mt. Everest or run a marathon. I love to read so writing seemed like a natural next step.
2. How long have you been writing?
Two years.
3. What do you love about writing?
Just like reading, it transports me somewhere else for a period of time.
4. Your own opinion. What is the most important quality to have as an Author?
Love of the subject matter. If you don't love your story, no one else will either!
5. Have you ever ended up with a dream or nightmare from writing one of your books? If yes, which one?
Yikes-No!
6. Do you have a favorite Author (other then yourself)? LOL. Who is it and why are they your favorite?
J. D. Robb. Her writings and characters are so vivid, I feel as if I am there.
7. What can you tell us about yourself that your fans do not already know?
I am a terrible cook :)
8. What is the most embarrassing thing that has ever happened to you as an Author?
Two days after I published my first book, I found a typo in the first paragraph. I almost quite writing, right then!

10. What scares you the most at being an Author?
Making a factual mistake which would destroy my credibility.

1. Have you made any character based on someone you know in real life? If so, why?
In my middle-grade series (The Supernatural Pet Sitter) the main character, Pepper, is based on my childhood-especially our fear of water.
2. What is the best reason to read your books?
They will hopefully take you some place exciting for a time.
3. Do your books have any characters from a dream you have had? If so which character?
Not so far.
4. Do you ever read your own books for fun? If yes, which one is your favorite to reread?
The Supernatural Pet Sitter series, because the endings are always happy.
5.If you could live in one of your books, would you?
Yes, Guardian of the Way, because there are so many magical doors it would never get boring.
6. Which one of your characters reminds you of yourself?
Samantha, in Dog Gone, because of her love for animals.
7. Do you have a favorite character?
Franco, the retired mobster in Dog Gone. I'm pretty sure he has quite a few skeletons in his closet.
8. Do any of your characters frighten you? Who and why?
Also Franco, because of those same skeletons in his closet.
9. What's your favorite part about creating a new book and characters?
The possibilities. I never know how it's going to end until it is almost finished.
10. What was the best comment you have ever gotten on one of your books?
"I had a hard time putting this book down."
